Days of the European Network of Holy Week and Easter Celebrations
The Days of the European Network of Holy Week and Easter Celebrations have been created with the purpose of presenting the intangible and tangible cultural values of these celebrations in the cities that belong to the European Network as a potential touristic and cultural offer for locals as well as for visitors all year round.
The program includes activities that will be carried out simultaneously between the 4th and the 20th of October in all member towns and that show the value and the diversity of the manifestations that take place in different European locations.
The program includes Open Days at Holy Week museums and headquarters of associations that preserve traditions, visits to religious and contemporary art workshops to see how artistic pieces are created, themed guided visits revolving around Holy Week and Easter, audiovisual screenings, educational programs for students, theatrical performances, exhibitions, music concerts, etc.
