Cristo de la Columna Brotherhood House-Museum

This museum showcases the wide and historical heritage of the Brotherhood of Christ at the Column, that includes the masterpiece of the imaginero (sculptor of religious imagery) from Seville Pedro Roldán y Onieva created in 1675, as well as the Blessed Virgin of Peace and Hope created by the sculptor/imaginero form Cordoba Miguel Ángel González Jurado in 1992.

The exhibition aims to recreate the singularity of Holy Thursday at Lucena, which takes place at the Jewish quarter of Saint James. It includes the symbols and emblems that conform popular devotion as well as the peculiar and unique way of carrying the float that inspires so much passion at Lucena.
